I want to introduce myself to all of you and share with you a little bit about myself and what I do on the weekends!!
Sometimes, it's more than just on the weekends...like every day at times, and all hours of the night in my pajamas kinda thing!! I am an artist at heart... always have been and it is what I love the most! I love to create unique art that brings joy to others and helps to recreate a memory!!
I am the owner of Tina Turnbow Art and I enjoy painting live at weddings! I also paint at home, like I mentioned, doing custom pieces for clients all over the county and just making random stuff that I sell online or in retail stores! Some of my favorite things to paint are your beloved pets!! And things like cotton, pelicans, and Louisiana plantations!! Sometimes I like to create an abstraction piece to have a chance to be relaxed and creative with colors and brush strokes and take a break from more planned pieces! It is a joy to explore art and be able to share with all of you as I learn new techniques and continue to grow!!
Painting weddings is one of my favorite ways to spend time on the weekends!!! I feel completely at ease by the time I am set up at the wedding and I begin to paint the background on your piece. It is truly a gift to be able to do this and enjoy the people who stop by my easel to watch. The guests love to stand behind me and watch me for a little while, and maybe ask some questions. The kids, though, are always my biggest fans and sometimes will pull up a seat!! They make me smile!!
Over the past few years, I have worked hard to grow as an artist in the wedding space. I have developed packages and pricing options based on what has worked the best for my clients and their needs. I try to be affordable and flexible with payment plans so that more brides can enjoy having my work hanging in their homes.
